How do I create a quiz with a Diploma test bank?

Click "New Exam" from the File drop down menu

Click "New Exam" from the File drop down menu

Return to the quiz question selection window

Notice that your quiz "or exam" name will be listed in the upper left.

From here there are four ways you can copy questions into your quiz.  You can:

  1. Copy a Specific Question to a Quiz
  2. Copy a Series of Consecutive Questions to a Quiz
  3. Copy a Group of Non-Consecutive Questions to a Quiz
  4. Copy Questions Randomly to a Quiz

1.  Copy a Specific Question to a Quiz

  1. Click the desired chapter from the Chapter column.
  2. Click the question that you wish to copy.
  3. Click the Copy To button. The selected question is copied to the exam.

Repeat to add more questions.

Note: The name of the Copy To button changes depending on whether you have an exam currently open. If an exam is open, the name of the exam appears after Copy To. If an exam is not open, the button says: Copy To A New Exam; clicking it creates a new exam, and copies the selected question to it.

  1. Click the desired chapter from the Chapter column.
  2. Click the first question in the series that you want to copy.  Hold the Shift key and click the last question in the series.
  3. Click the Copy To button. The selected questions are copied to the exam.

  1. Click the desired chapter from the Chapter column.
  2. Click the first question that you want to copy.  Hold the Ctrl key and click another question that you want to copy. Repeat until all the questions that you want to copy are selected.
  3. Click the Copy To button. The selected questions are copied to the exam.

Note: The name of the Copy To button changes depending on whether you have an exam currently open. If an exam is not open, the button says: Copy To A New Exam; clicking it creates a new exam, and copies the selected question to it.

4.  Copy Questions Randomly to a Quiz

  1. Click the desired chapter from the Chapter column.
  2. Click the Copy Randomly toolbar button. The Randomly Copy Toolbar opens.
  3. Type the number of questions you that you wish to randomly copy in the Randomly Copy box.
  4. Click the Copy Now button. The questions are copied to the exam.

Note: If more than one question in a chapter is highlighted, the Copy Randomly feature limits its choices to the highlighted questions. You can take advantage of this feature to limit the range of questions that the program randomly chooses.
