How do I install a coursepack?

Your campus ANGEL/IT administrators can usually help you with this process.

Warning: These directions assume that you have not yet created your course. If that is not the case, please back up your course first.

For ANGEL 6.3

Create your course. If you do not have rights to create your course, ask your administrator to do this for you.

  1. Log into your course as an instructor and select the "Tools" tab.
  2. Under "Course Management,” select "Import Wizard.”
  3. Select "Content Package.” Browse to the .zip file you downloaded above.
  4. Click "Upload File." To be safe, you may want to add this content to a new folder if your course already has content in it.

The upload may take several minutes.

For ANGEL 7.1

Create your course. If you do not have rights to create your course, ask your administrator to do this for you.

  1. Log into your course as an instructor and select the "Manage" tab.
  2. Under "Data Management,” select "Import Wizard.”
  3. Select "Content Package.” Browse to the .zip file you downloaded above.
  4. Click "Upload File." To be safe, you may want to add this content to a new folder if your course already has content in it.

For ANGEL 7.4

  1. Create a new course on the Angel 7.4 server, and then go to the “Manage” tab.
  2. Then click on “Import Console” in the “Data Management” frame.
  3. Select "Content Package.” Browse to the .zip file you downloaded above.
  4. Finally click on “Upload File,” then wait until the entire package gets uploaded.
  5. Click on “Next” and wait until it is imported.
  6. You course is now ready to review.

The upload may take several minutes.

Note: you may upload multiple packages to one course, and packages can be uploaded into courses that already have content in them. Do not worry if the .zip file we provide has “blackboard” or “webct” in the file name—ANGEL is compatible with these formats.

Is the test bank included?

In most of our coursepacks, yes. For older coursepacks, this is not always the case.
